Battery ranges

Sensor records carry a raw battery voltage and a battery_type. The voltage on its own does not tell you whether the battery is healthy — what counts as “low” depends on the chemistry.

Type 1

A gap in the source table

For type 3 the source gives the “Good” band as < 2.24 V, immediately below a “High” threshold of ≥ 2.25 V — leaving voltages between 2.24 V and 2.25 V unclassified. The boundary is reproduced here as published rather than silently corrected.

Different numbering elsewhere

The gateway’s MQTT and OPC UA integrations report batteryType as 1 = 1/6D, 2 = AAA, 3 = CR2032, 4 = CR2477 — a naming scheme, not these voltage bands. Whether the numbers line up between the two is pending confirmation.
